This is so well deserved. The Girl Scouts are an incredible organization. I was a member when I was younger, and I have wonderful memories of going to meetings, going on trips, getting to know my fellow Girl Scouts. Even for a weird litte girl like me, you felt welcomed there. One of my deepest regrets from my childhood has always been that I didn’t stick with it when I changed schools. So I’m glad President Obama is doing this. The Girl Scouts have always stood for encouraging girls to succeed, and they don’t discrimate, two things I can definitely get behind. :)
