I am so disappointed. Not surprised, but disappointed. Saddened. My state is supposed to believe in loving our neighbors, accepting everyone as they are, and treating everyone as family. As “ohana”.
Except, I guess, if you’re gay.
Gov. Linda Lingle, you failed us. You failed Hawaii. We should be at the forefront of the movement toward equality, not lagging along behind.
